Summit Fever

Lyrics

Verse 1
Pack the trunk, roll out early
Cool air hit like a kiss
Back roads twist through the pine trees
Everybody feeling this

Snack bag full, mouth watering
Got that hunger in my chest
No bugs buzzing round my hoodie
Just the mountain doing best

Pre-Chorus
Take a breath
Let it rush
Open sky
Hands up
We came here for the sweet release
We came here for the easy peace

Chorus
Up in the mountains
Up in the mountains
Fresh air, full plate
We came for the good taste
Up in the mountains
Up in the mountains
Deep sleep, wild heart
And no mosquitoes in the dark

Verse 2
Blanket down on the bright green ground
Laughed so hard we missed the turn
Fire in the grill, stars in our eyes
Yeah, we let the whole week burn

Feet sore, soul free
Music in the cabin door
Breathe it in, hold it there
We don’t need much more

Pre-Chorus
Take a breath
Let it rush
Open sky
Hands up
We came here for the sweet release
We came here for the easy peace

Chorus
Up in the mountains
Up in the mountains
Fresh air, full plate
We came for the good taste
Up in the mountains
Up in the mountains
Deep sleep, wild heart
And no mosquitoes in the dark

Bridge
Let it all slow down
Let it all fade out
Cheeks red, eyes shut
That’s what we’re about
One more laugh
One more bite
Then we’re out cold
Till the morning light

Final Chorus
Up in the mountains
Up in the mountains
Fresh air, full plate
We came for the good taste
Up in the mountains
Up in the mountains
Deep sleep, wild heart
And no mosquitoes in the dark
Up in the mountains
Up in the mountains
Play all day
Then fade away
