Waxed Floors
by David Gerald
Lyrics
Verse 1
Pull out the hammer, you hear that knock
Lightning strike, I don't miss my shot
I'm Thor in the cut, they all adore
Any beef, leave it at the front door
Been to run clowns down, wild boar
Ain't for the games, I came for more
See me on sight, they pause, then stare
Gold on my wrist, got pride in the glare
Pre-Chorus
Watch how I move
Watch how I glide
Step in the room
Whole place get quiet
Hands in the air
Eyes on my name
You know that I
Don't play them games
Chorus
Shine like my grandma done waxed the floors
Shine like my grandma done waxed the floors
When they see me, they stop and salute
Then shake my hand, I just let it ooze
I shine like them floors they need waxed, ayy
I shine like them floors they need waxed, ayy
Any beef, front door, keep that away
I came in drippin', I don't fade
Verse 2
Balling like I'm on a world tour
Every town I touch, they want encore
Big step, clean walk, nice and slow
Same shine hit hard from the first to the flow
They want my spot, but the lane stay mine
Cut from the cloth, that's one of a kind
Say my name right, put respect on it
I been this flame, don't test that, homie
Pre-Chorus
Watch how I move
Watch how I glide
Step in the room
Whole place get quiet
Hands in the air
Eyes on my name
You know that I
Don't play them games
Chorus
Shine like my grandma done waxed the floors
Shine like my grandma done waxed the floors
When they see me, they stop and salute
Then shake my hand, I just let it ooze
I shine like them floors they need waxed, ayy
I shine like them floors they need waxed, ayy
Any beef, front door, keep that away
I came in drippin', I don't fade
Bridge
Old soul, new wave
Same shine, no strain
Walk light, still heavy
My name in the frame
Final Chorus
Shine like my grandma done waxed the floors
Shine like my grandma done waxed the floors
When they see me, they stop and salute
Then shake my hand, I just let it ooze
I shine like them floors they need waxed, ayy
I shine like them floors they need waxed, ayy
Any beef, front door, keep that away
I came in drippin', I don't fade
