Race To Win

Lyrics

It was my dream to be a racer when I was a kid.
Driving out there with the elites of the world is what I dreamed about.
Being the legend is what I wanted to do.
But they said it won't happen cause they say that I will die if I climb behind the wheel.

But I will prove them wrong.
I'll start go karting to begin my journey to be the best.
Climbing the ladder to the top I will make it there.
As time goes by I've grown up to race.
Growing up to be a racer
I will aim to be the legend, go for the title, bring back the glory
And I'll race to win it all.

(I'll race to win!)

I'm a young gun with a thrill of racing
Running anything on wheels
From motorcycles to open wheelers
I race to be the best around
Cause I got nerves of steel
Riding hot wheels of fire
Raising hell on the track
Legal or illegal it don't matter.
On the track, out on the streets, four wheel drive on the dirt, mud, ice and snow
Weathering through the sun and rain
Drag racing, rally racing, stock cars, big trucks, from short tracks to world circuits.
I just race to win cause I will be number one.

(Let's race!)

(Guitar solo)

Then one night I was cruising through the city and then I hear the sound of thunderous engines roaring on the street.
Street racing passing by.
One hundred miles an hour.
Seeing the cars flying by I became inspired to take the wheel, join the race and drive faster.

If I have to try to get to where I need to be
It's a chance I'll take
Riding into the danger zone, flirting with disaster
Faster than I ever gone before
It gave me the chance to
Shoot to thrill, race to win
I'll put my foot on the gas.

I will race to win
Keep running till the end
I gotta move and stay one step ahead
Cause nothing's gonna slow me down.

That's the only way I know
I won't stop till everything's behind me
Straight ahead to the finish line
I won't back off, I won't back down
Full throttle, pedal to the metal, foot to the floor wide open, overdrive on the highway to hell
I'll race to win

Race to win
(Race to win)
Race to win!

Oh yeah!

Shift into turbo!
Go!
