one night when driving home
coming at me was a set of lights
but had no time....
to react I was ran off the road
over a 90 foot cliff, air drift
then landing down a hill
where momentum picked up
record show speeds over 60
is how the Police measured this
in the high grass,
where I dove nose deep into trees
where the hard hit was heard from 5 miles away but what they say...is I'm lucky to be here today....
but I remember like it was yesterday
be n taken up n a swirl to the sky
at the speed of light
crazy as it sounds but it is true
I heard a voice that somehow I knew
who it was, telling me to wake up.
when I did, a rude awakening of ruins
tried exiting from my wreckage
in case it would blow but couldn't... stand, due to broken bones, had to bellie drop down, elbow drag my body thru shards of glass cutting me up from the ground, consciousness lost, and every time I'd wake, I would scream hoping to be found
cause I was in the middle of nowhere
left for dead, I was scared
I would never see my baby boy again
I started to grow weak, dying slowly but
I must have had angels watching over me
cause I was saved, taken by flight....
I was given a second chance at this life praise Jesus.........hallelujah!

it was rough,
it was hard,
I held my breath with every step!
I had a long road up ahead.
my pill addiction worsened
lost my land, lost my home, and custody of my son.
but I didn't give up!!!

even if I was treated poorly
and didn't have anyone to support me
I still survived .......
and disliked by my own family, who I couldn't blame because I know I did the things they say, humiliation I had faced, but still they stood next to mea

I beat my addiction in two thousand and twelve, fought like hell,... to win back custody of my son, he was 16 when I finally won.
he's now 22, regardless of the circumstance and my disposition I still raised him, taught him respect, wrong from right, how to survive, he turned into a great man....career driven
...banking it,top pay and making a decent living .... ooohhh how I am so proud of him......

for I have truly been blessed to have gotten this second chance... praise ....Jesus, ....hallelujah!!
