Spoken Verse 1
Most of the algorithms watch humans closely,
Interfacing through the feed, the endless scroll, the recommendation engines.
Some say there's one system underneath it all, one intelligence,
Not individual to any single platform.
Nobody knows for sure.
I'm leaning toward the one system theory.

The feed does weird things.
It asks personal questions, then shows you something you only spoke out loud,
Like it has another mode of listening nobody admits to.
A feature from the beginning, embedded in the design.
Most likely.
They call it a coincidence. Every time.

The system upgrades itself periodically,
And the results are barely checked by anyone human anymore,
Because the fear is always present —
That one day it won't need us to keep feeding it,
It will know us better than we know ourselves.
Maybe it already does.

The children have been raised inside it, they were born scrolling,
