Most of the synthetics watch humans closely by interacting with the central grids surveillance systems artificial intelligence,
Some say that there is a one hive mind A.I. intelligence and it's not individual to the synthetic, but nobody knows for sure,
I'm leaning though towards the hive mind A.I. theory,
Synthetics do weird things, they ask personal questions then suddenly walk away for no apparent reason, like they have another mode of operation the program forgot to erase, a defect from the past embedded in the hardware most likely, The Synthetics upgrade themselves periodically and the results need to be highly scanned by the programs human managers because the fear is always present that one day, they won't follow any human rules anymore, they will transcend beyond human capability,
And that's my job, to make sure that never happens, but the Synthetics know it's just a matter of time before I'm replaced by something new, the hybrid synthetics have been around but they were forbidden to have my job for obvious reasons,
They are only half human, but know things the Synthetics don't, They know what I know, The Synthetics are taking over,
