The city has changed a lot since the hybrids appeared,
We use these specialized terminals to interface with half human machine brains now,
they are called hyper terminals,
because it's like being in hyper space where your mind is connected to a grid that has no frame of reference,
you hyper accelerate into a zone that feels like being connected to a god being that is connected to everything at once,
you feel like your mind is on drugs and you can see everything in a dream,
but when you disconnect,
you get withdrawal symptoms,
just like a junky coming down from their high,
and people on drugs that connect to the hyper terminals become zombies, they need the terminal upgraded into their brains permanently or they die, they become another type of hybrid synthetic, one nobody ever likes to connect with, because they are hyper sensitive and almost always in their own made up world kept alive only by the machine and the hyper reality it creates,
