the promise is kept

Lyrics

(Verse 1)
It started with a smile and a simple meal
At a Jollibee table, where we made it real
Eleven years of waiting, a lifetime it seemed
But I held onto the promise, and the man I dreamed.
From the lights of Tomas Morato, the music so loud
I only saw you in the middle of the crowd
Quezon City nights where our story began
Now I’m walking through life holding your hand.

(Chorus)
Sherwin, you’re the judo, the strength of my life
I’m so blessed and so proud to be called your wife
From that first date together to the life we now run
On November 20, 2017, we finally became one.

(Verse 2)
You’re a faithful servant, a true son of God
Walking with kindness wherever you trod
A lovable son and a father so true
Every day I find reasons for loving you.
The years took us apart, then they brought us back home
To the beautiful life that we’ve built as our own
A promise fulfilled, a love that won’t end
My husband, my hero, my very best friend.

(Chorus)
Sherwin, you’re the judo, the strength of my life
I’m so blessed and so proud to be called your wife
From that first date together to the life we now run
On November 20, 2017, we finally became one.

(Bridge)
Time was a bridge that we had to cross over
To find the peace and the heart of a lover
Now every morning and every night
I’m safe in your arms, everything is alright.

(Outro)
Eleven years later, and forever to go
I love you more than you’ll ever know
My Sherwin...
The promise is kept.m female voice and a gentle guitar."
