your already enough

Lyrics

VERSE 1
You stare into the mirror
Trying to find what they see
Picking out every little flaw
Like that's all you're meant to be
You hide behind your silence
When the room gets way too loud
But there's a light inside your eyes
You just can't see it now

PRE-CHORUS
You don't have to change your colors
Just to fit into their sky
You don't have to lose yourself
To make somebody stay by your side

CHORUS
You're already enough
Even when you don't believe it
You're more than every word
That somebody said to hurt you
You don't have to be perfect
You don't have to be someone new
There's nothing wrong with who you are
There's nothing you need to prove

VERSE 2
I know some days feel heavy
Like you're carrying the world
And every little mistake
Makes you question what you're worth
But growing isn't breaking
And tears don't make you weak
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do
Is let yourself just breathe

PRE-CHORUS
You don't have to hide your heart
Just because they couldn't see
The things that make you different
Are the things that make you free

CHORUS
You're already enough
Even when you don't believe it
You're more than every word
That somebody said to hurt you
You don't have to be perfect
You don't have to be someone new
There's nothing wrong with who you are
There's nothing you need to prove

BRIDGE
Maybe one day you'll look back
At the person you are now
And finally understand
You deserved kindness all along
So let the mirror tell the truth
Let your tired heart rest
You were never something broken
You were always doing your best

FINAL CHORUS
You're already enough
And I hope someday you'll feel it
You don't have to earn your place
You don't have to keep on reaching
You can laugh, you can cry
You can stumble, you can grow
And you don't have to change a thing
To deserve to be loved and known

OUTRO
So take a breath
And let yourself be you
You're already enough
You always were
