happy mother's Day 💐

Lyrics

Verse 1
My mom she the best
Anyone can ask for
She holds it down
Since we were all born

My child hood was blessed
Cause she kept us dressed
In nice clothes
Even when the days were cold

She took care of us
And the kids in the hood
She made sure everyone was good
As long as I can remember

Pre-Chorus
Yeah, she did that
When the whole block folded
Kept a full house
With a heart wide open

From the dawn to the dark
She was built like steel
And every little thing she gave
Still keeps it real

Chorus
My momma the best
Anyone can ask for
(My momma the best)
She kept us good
She kept us sure

My momma the best
Anyone can ask for
(My momma the best)
Don't act like yo mom's better
You already know for sure

Verse 2
Her youngest hit 30
And she surely still keeping us kept
That's a fact
Don't act like yo mom's better

She still calls up
Just to check one thing
Did you eat today
Did you make your bed?

And if the rain came down
She was boots on the floor
Made a little out of nothing
Then she gave us more

Pre-Chorus
Yeah, she did that
With a hand on the steering
Never needed applause
But we felt her caring

From the first hard day
To the last one left
Every good thing in me
Got her name on it

Chorus
My momma the best
Anyone can ask for
(My momma the best)
She kept us good
She kept us sure

My momma the best
Anyone can ask for
(My momma the best)
Don't act like yo mom's better
You already know for sure

Bridge
As long as I can remember
She was standing there
Lifting every one of us
Like a prayer in the air

So if you see me shining
You can thank that love
Cause I came from her strong hands
And her never-give-up

Chorus
My momma the best
Anyone can ask for
(My momma the best)
She kept us good
She kept us sure

My momma the best
Anyone can ask for
(My momma the best)
Don't act like yo mom's better
You already know for sure
