Last Bite

Lyrics

Verse 1
They came through the fence
With mouths full of dirt
Hands on my throat
Like they owned my hurt

Mud on their teeth
And blood on the lawn
I backed to the shed
But the light was gone

Cold in my chest
Heart hammering hard
They don't want a scare
They want every last part

Pre-Chorus
I hear the jaws
I hear the drag
I hear my name
In the trash and the rag

Closer now
No room to run
I spit in their face
And swing at the sun

Chorus
Zombies eating me alive
Zombies eating me alive
Bit by bit, I do not cave
I bite back hard, I will not fade

Zombies eating me alive
Zombies eating me alive
Pull me down, I still get loud
I burn like rage inside this crowd

Verse 2
One bit my arm
Like it was meat
One scratched my ribs
With a rusted key

I kicked through the swarm
Hit one in the jaw
They kept on coming
Like a broken law

Floorboards cracked
And the basement shook
I found a pipe
So I took a look

Face to face
With the dead in rows
I wore my hate
Like a blade in my clothes

Pre-Chorus
I hear the jaws
I hear the drag
I hear my name
In the trash and the rag

Closer now
No room to run
I spit in their face
And swing at the sun

Chorus
Zombies eating me alive
Zombies eating me alive
Bit by bit, I do not cave
I bite back hard, I will not fade

Zombies eating me alive
Zombies eating me alive
Pull me down, I still get loud
I burn like rage inside this crowd

Bridge
You want my bones?
Come take them now
You want my soul?
You ain't there somehow

I got one last breath
And one last roar
If I'm going down
I'm breaking your door

Breakdown
Back up
Back up
I ain't your meal
Back up
Back up
I make you kneel

Final Chorus
Zombies eating me alive
Zombies eating me alive
Bit by bit, I do not cave
I bite back hard, I will not fade

Zombies eating me alive
Zombies eating me alive
Pull me down, I still get loud
I burn like rage inside this crowd

Zombies eating me alive
Zombies eating me alive
You get my flesh
You never get me
