Mr TV always know

Lyrics

Verse
He tips his hat at the corner store
Always holds the ladies door
His screen burns bright with a frozen grin
No one sees what lurks within
He tunes the dials on his metal neck
Keeps his spotless name in check
But when the sun goes down and all is still
He slips through the woods to get his fill

Chorus
Mr TV is watching you
Mr TV knows what to do
Hes got a picture perfect smile
But hes been rotten all the while
Mr TV is watching you
Mr TV is watching you

Verse
Theres a pile of bones by the old creek bed
Buried by the man with a box for a head
He tunes the signal to a soothing hum
To drown the beat of the warning drum
He tells his jokes and plays his part
With a hollow chest and a heavy heart
The neighbors call him a gentle soul
While hes digging out another hole

Chorus
Mr TV is watching you
Mr TV knows what to do
Hes got a picture perfect smile
But hes been rotten all the while
Mr TV is watching you
Mr TV is watching you

Bridge
Turn the knob and flip the switch
Never look back when the shadows twitch
Hes lived a thousand lives in black and white
And ended more in the dead of night
Hes just a broadcast built on lies
Waiting for the next one passing by

Chorus (final)
Mr TV is watching you
Mr TV knows what to do
Hes got a picture perfect smile
But hes been rotten all the while
Mr TV is watching you
Mr TV is watching you

Outro
The screen goes dark but leaves its glow
Mr TV always knows
