I know the world is complicated, and your brain is feeling tight,
So I’ve come to sing a little song to help you get it right.
See, people walk around and say some things that make me wince,
Claiming science is just "guesswork" without a shred of evidence.
But before you start your ranting and you take that verbal leap,
There’s a terminology distinction that you really ought to keep!

Unless you want to hear a group of frantic physicists scream!

But once you’ve got the data, and the peer-reviewed results,
And you’ve survived the testing and the academic insults...

That’s when Theory gets its title and its legendary name.

They aren't just throwing darts and hoping one of them will stick,
Calling their work "guessing" is a dirty little trick!
