Back Up Bass

Lyrics

Verse 1
Got that motion on me
Lil’ sway
Lil’ lean
Spot you lookin’ at me
You know what I mean

Side step
Slide in
You close
I grin
You say “show me somethin’”
I say “say when”

Chorus
Need a dance partner
To back up bass
Hands on my hips
You keep that pace

When I move
You move
Right in that space
You my back up
Back up bass

Need a dance partner
To back up bass
Sweat drip
Slow spin
Heart on race

When I drop
You drop
Right on that phrase
You my back up
Back up bass (hey)

Verse 2
Two-step tension
Heat in the air
You press in closer
I don’t even care

You read my rhythm
I read your face
We write a story
In this tight little space

Chorus
Need a dance partner
To back up bass
Hands on my hips
You keep that pace

When I move
You move
Right in that space
You my back up
Back up bass

Need a dance partner
To back up bass
Sweat drip
Slow spin
Heart on race

When I drop
You drop
Right on that phrase
You my back up
Back up bass (oh yeah)
