Jesus Christ is King

Lyrics

intro

verse
Jesus came to earth to set us free
Walked the roads with love and mercy
Preached the word so all could see
The light of God's own glory

verse
He healed the sick and raised the dead
Miracles in words he said
Betrayed with kiss for silver red
On the cross his blood was shed

pre-chorus
Buried deep in tomb so cold
Claimed the keys of death so bold
Rose again as was foretold

chorus
King Jesus will return one day
Take his children all the way
To the glory bright and true
Where we'll live with him anew

verse
Disciples watched him rise so high
Angels called from golden sky
Why stand gazing don't you cry
He'll come back from up on high

chorus
King Jesus will return one day
Take his children all the way
To the glory bright and true
Where we'll live with him anew
