The Heart Of A Man

Lyrics

I remember the day I first held your hand
A tiny reflection of a future man
Now I watch you growing, strong and tall
But it’s the strength inside that matters most of all
My son, there’s a path that the world won’t show
A way for your spirit and your heart to grow
It’s not in the power or the things you own
But in the seeds of grace that you have sown.(Chorus)
So love her like Jesus loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25)
Giving all of yourself, putting her needs first
Be the light in the dark, be the steady ground
Where the peace of the Father can always be found
Walk with humility, act with your heart (Micah 6:8)
Let the love of the Savior be where you start
Grow into a man who is faithful and true
Just like the One who gave His life for you.(Verse 2)
When you find the one who will share your days
Treat her with honor in all of your ways (1 Peter 3:7)
Don’t be harsh with your words, let your kindness lead (Colossians 3:19)
Be the provider for every need (1 Timothy 5:8)
Love her like your own body, cherish her soul (Ephesians 5:28)
Let the Spirit of God take the full control
For the greatest among you is the one who serves (Matthew 23:11)
Giving more than a human heart deserves.
