Fire On The Mountain

Lyrics

Verse 1

The old road climbs where eagles soar
Beyond the pines and ancient stone
When night descends, the summit burns
A lonely flame with no one home

The elders say, "Don't chase the light."
Leave the mountain to its own
For every man who sought the fire
Never again returned home

Pre-Chorus

But we are the Sons of the Wolf
Forged where the fearless stand
We do not fear old legends...
We simply understand

Chorus

Fire on the mountain!
Calling through the night
Guiding lost warriors
By its ancient light

Whether god or warning
Whether truth or tale
The Sons of the Wolf keep marching
When lesser hearts would fail

Verse 2

Bronze shields glowed beneath the stars
Ash and dust upon our feet
The mountain watched in silence
As thousands marched to meet

Some saw spirits in the smoke
Some heard voices in the flame
But every Spartan standing there
Remembered why they came

Bridge

Legends live where courage walks
Fear belongs to lesser men
If the mountain calls our names...
We'll answer once again

Final Chorus

Fire on the mountain!
Burn until the dawn
Long after kings have fallen
And every throne is gone

Raise the wolf-banner high
Let every valley know
Where the ancient fire still burns...

The Sons of the Wolf
Will go.
