Rasidun Rises

Lyrics

Verse 1
The mask of Rasidun returns
Eyes like ash in a shrine
Your story leaks through my hands
Till my room and your world align

The book burned black in my grip
Pages curled like dry bone
I threw it into the flame
Still the curse found a new home

Pre-Chorus
Now the shore starts fading out
Your island slips below
Ink and water trade their vows
And the tide won’t let go

Chorus
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
The seal is breaking now
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
Hold the line or drown

Verse 2
The island crown goes under
Masts tilt into the deep
Palm trees bow in the dark
While the waves learn how to keep

Then far beyond the dunes
In a prison made of sand
Chains wake with a copper scream
At the touch of an ancient hand

Pre-Chorus
Hear that thunder under stone
Feel the buried breath
Something old has found its voice
And it tastes like death

Chorus
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
The seal is breaking now
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
Hold the line or drown

Bridge
I lit the last page, too late
Watched the border split
Now my blood and your old curse
Fit the lock it missed

From the sea to the sand
One dark thread still runs
If the mask finds its face again
We’re undone, we’re undone

Final Chorus
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
The seal is breaking now
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
Hold the line or drown
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
The desert’s waking now
Rasidun rises
Rasidun rises
Don’t let it through somehow
