Tesco Recall
by Mark Bronson
Lyrics
A FRUIT snack has been recalled from Tesco shelves over a potential health risk.
The popular item was found to have been contaminated with salmonella, which “make the product unsafe to eat”.
Tesco has officially removed its Grape & Berry Medley from stores, warning customers “do not eat it”.
The affected berry medley pots feature the use by dates February 16, 2026, and February 17, 2026.
These snacks, sold in 230g containers, were found to contain traces of salmonella.
Salmonella can cause symptoms such as fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.
Anyone experiencing any of the above is advised to stay away from work, school, or nursery until you have stopped having symptoms for at least 48 hours to avoid passing it on to others.
In a recall notice, Tesco informed customers it was taking the measure “as a precaution”.
Shoppers are advised: “If you have bought the above product do not eat it.
“Instead, return it to any Tesco store for a full refund.”
