Wyvern Hunt

Lyrics

Verse 1
The Shangri'la went dark
Taken by the Romulans
First officer slipped the chain
With a hand full of crew in hand
Starfleet watched her turn
From steel to чужой flame
She wore our hull like a ghost
And burned the good ships down

Pre-Chorus
So they called him back
Gave him one hard order
Find that stolen sister
Put her under water

Chorus
Bring the Shangri'la down
Bring the Shangri'la down
If she won't come back home
Then she falls from the crown
Bring the Shangri'la down
Bring the Shangri'la down
Wyvern on her tail
Until the stars go out

Verse 2
They handed him the Wyvern
The sister ship in white
Same bones, same wake
Same hunger in the night
He flew with the Enterprise
Cutting through the black
Two blades on the same hunt
No turning back

Pre-Chorus
Every broken colony
Every hull she scarred
Pulled him closer to the edge
Pulled him through the dark

Chorus
Bring the Shangri'la down
Bring the Shangri'la down
If she won't come back home
Then she falls from the crown
Bring the Shangri'la down
Bring the Shangri'la down
Wyvern on her tail
Until the stars go out

Bridge
He saw her on the scope
His old home, twisted gold
A prisoner with her teeth out
A story gone cold
He whispered to the dead
To the friends she took away
Then locked his jaw and fired
At the ship he could not save

Final Chorus
Bring the Shangri'la down
Bring the Shangri'la down
If she won't come back home
Then she falls from the crown
Bring the Shangri'la down
Bring the Shangri'la down
Wyvern and Enterprise
Make the final sound
