Come To Me

Lyrics

Verse 1
I come bent low
With dust on my hands
Too many hours
Too many plans
My heart was pulling
A heavy chain
I brought You trouble
You spoke my name

Pre-Chorus
You said, "Come here"
You said, "Come close"
"Learn my way"
"Let it touch your bones"
Gentle and humble
That's who You are
You steady my steps
You carry my heart

Chorus
Come to me, come to me
I will give you rest
Come to me, come to me
Lay down all the rest
Your burden is easy
Your load is light
Come to me, come to me
I will ease your mind

Verse 2
I tried to earn
What grace already gave
I wore the worry
Like a brand-new chain
But in Your presence
My breathing slowed
You lifted my head
You made me whole

Pre-Chorus
You said, "Come here"
You said, "Come close"
"Learn my way"
"Let it touch your bones"
Gentle and humble
That's who You are
You steady my steps
You carry my heart

Chorus
Come to me, come to me
I will give you rest
Come to me, come to me
Lay down all the rest
Your burden is easy
Your load is light
Come to me, come to me
I will ease your mind

Bridge
I let it go
I let it fall
All the hard-backed fear
Through the noise of it all
You do not crush
The bruised reed
You raise the weary
You meet my need

Final Chorus
Come to me, come to me
I will give you rest
Come to me, come to me
Lay down all the rest
Your burden is easy
Your load is light
Come to me, come to me
I will ease your mind

Come to me, come to me
You are safe with Me
Come to me, come to me
I set your soul free
