Shangri La Reborn

Lyrics

Verse 1
The Shangri La broke
Under Wyvern’s order
Plates split wide
Black water in her bones

Towline caught her
Pulled her back to port
Smoke still clung
To every twisted vane

Pre-Chorus
But the dock lights burned
And hands went to work
Weld by weld
She rose again

Chorus
Shangri La
Rise again
Shangri La
Burn for them

Shangri La
Strike as one
Shangri La
Revenge comes on

Verse 2
At starbase dawn
They stripped her scars away
Set new shields
And tuned her broken heart

Fresh hull gleamed
Like a blade in rain
Her old name
Came back hard and fast

Pre-Chorus
Then the alarms rang out
Romulan shadows came
Side by side
The sisters turned

Chorus
Shangri La
Rise again
Shangri La
Burn for them

Shangri La
Strike as one
Shangri La
Revenge comes on

Bridge
Wyvern on her flank
Steel to steel they flew
Green fire flashed
Across the void

One by one
The enemy lines fell
Phasers lit
The mast of space

Final Chorus
Shangri La
Rise again
Shangri La
Burn for them

Shangri La
Strike as one
Shangri La
Revenge comes on

Shangri La
Rise again
Shangri La
Won’t back down
